Artsystamper: Wrappings and Tags

Hello!
Happy Monday!

Today sees the start of a new challenge at the new Artsystamper Challenge Blog. Each challenge runs for two weeks and starts on the first and third Monday of the month.
The theme for this challenge is Wrappings and/or Tags
I hope that you can find time to join in the fun!

The winner will receive the stamp set of their choice from TheArtsystamperShop. Beverly Cole’s selections offer stamps and sentiments in each set as well as pre-colored images for easy, last minute cards. Why not take a moment and check out what she has in store!

Here is what I made:

I made some tags using pre coloured digital images from Sweet Santa, Snow Birds and Poinsettia Pair.

I resized the images and added the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from Sweet Santa to some of the images. I then printed them out, leaving enough space to die cut around each. Once die cut, I left the die in place and inked the background with Distress Oxides; Twisted Citron first and then edged with Peeled Paint and Fired Brick. Some touches of glitter were applied to each image.
I cut a larger gold mat with each die and adhered the digital images on top, then threaded some gold fibres through to make the tag.

The gift bags have a rectangle of Wintery Paper adhered to the front. The images are fussy cut, leaving a thin white border and popped onto a gold die cut square. Some gold sequin trim was placed beneath the topper.

Next I made a chocolate box sleeve from white card and Wintery Paper. I simply measured the size of the box and scored my card to make the sleeve. The patterned papers were cut slightly smaller that each panel and the edges were distressed with scissors. I added one of my tags and a large shop bought bow.

The wine bottle tag is again just a strip of card, scored in two places with a die cut circle in the middle portion to pop over the bottle neck. Wintery Paper was distressed and adhered to the card and one of the tags adhered to the front.

That's all for today!
