Hello
It's May and we have a new customer challenge over at the Gecko Galz blog.
The theme this month is Floral Dreamland..
As always, we also have the monthly card challeng.e, the monthly Christmas Image Challenge, the monthly Stamp Challenge, an ATC challenge, a Steampunk challenge and a Gothic Challenge on the blog, as well as 4 Facebook challenges. These can be accessed by the tabs at the top of the main blog page. We also have the new quarterly challenge.
We hope you can find some time to join in the fun.
The winner of the Customer challenge will get a $25 Gecko Galz Etsy Store voucher and the runner up a $12 voucher. There are plenty of free Gecko Galz images if you don't already own any. Each blog post has a free image to collect and, if you sign up for the monthly newsletter, there is the chance to claim a free collage set each month. Also if you make any purchase of $2 or more you receive a free image.

Here is what I made as inspiration for the Customer Challenge.
It's a Mini Pocket Tag Booklet:
The images are all from Gecko Galz. I used Blooming Ladies,
Floral Tea (one of last month's 'free with purchase' collage sheet), the tea cup collage set from April 2024's monthly kit called Douces Fleurs Du Printemps (not in the shop just yet) and sentiments from Garden Sentiments.
The front of the booklet:
The back of the booklet:
And the booklet opened up:
I made the booklet with white card, then added the brayered acrylic painted backgrounds which were heat embossed in white using a Tim Holtz floral background stamp. The edges of the pages were inked. The inside pages form three pockets for the tags to be tucked inside. The tags have paint splatters and flower images.

I'd like to enter my mini book into these challenges:
* Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #229 AG 18/05
* Unicorn Challenge #98 For the Girls 28/05
* Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday Challenge AG May 29/05* Creative Inspirations May Feminine 31/05
* 613 Avenue Create May AG 31/05
* A Place to Start May For a Lady 31/05
* Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #255 Use Lace or Pearls 11/06
I also made a set of cards:
I used my favourite ATCs (Dream Garden) for the centre piece and used a scalpel to cut along the florals. I tucked a dancing lady into the opening so that she appears to be dancing through the garden flowers. The background is floral glittered paper from my stash.
I'd like to enter my trio of cards into these challenges:
* Crafty Catz Challenge #671 AG?Summer 16/05
* Creative Fingers Challenge #277 AG 17/05
* Perfect Time to Craft #5 AG 28/05
* Patties Creations Challenge #218 AG 31/05

And lastly, two digital collages:
I used the Carved Flowers paper pack for the backgrounds. The lady in purple is one of the Blooming Ladies, whilst the lady in cream is one of the Romantic Ballerinas.
That's all for now!
I hope you'll join our Floral Dreamland challenge where the winner will get a $25 shopping spree at the Gecko Galz shop.Do come and join us!
I'll be back in June with more Gecko Galz projects.
Thanks for stopping by today.
I'd really love some feedback :)
I read and appreciate all your comments.
