Here is my project:
I have long been a fan of zetti art journalling, using cut outs from magazines to create a totally new 'creature', but have never found the time to try it, so this is my intermediate step!
I coloured the zetti creature with Copic markers and added some Posca paint pen dots and highlights. I fussy cut it, ran a black pen around the cut edge and popped it on foam pads. The background began with spray inks and then some bleaching through a stencil. Next I added border stamps by Dylusions and used a white Posca paint pen to fill in the spaces between the black squares. I used Rubber Dance texture stamps to add more interest to the background and did some mark making with a white pen. The zetti creature is popped on foam pads with washi tape to ground it. Real zetti art has amazing journalling in artsy handwriting, but I used a Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker on my card. I thought this sentiment was very apt!
