* Scrapbook Stamp Society: Winter Bestie

Hello!

Today I'm sharing my lastest post for Scrapbook Stamp Society. 

The new challenge starts today and the theme is Anything Goes with the option of Winter. You have two weeks to enter this challenge, using any stamps you chose to, and you can enter up to 3 projects.

The Winners and Runner-Ups will receive My Bestie digital stamps from a selection on offer.  All details can be found on the challenge blog.

I chose this gorgeous stamp IMG451 for my card:



I cut the image with a stitched square die and coloured it with Copics. I chose some winter blue design paper for the background. I matted both the image and the background with kraft card. The image was popped on foam pads for a little dimension. 



I made a bunch of blooms using The Ribbon Girls flowers and some die cut leaves.
 A small twine bow and a single bloom decorated the top right corner.

* Scrapbook Stamp Society: Valentine Bestie

Hello everyone!


Today I'm sharing my second January DT project for 
Scrapbook Stamp Society. 

This time, the challenge is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Valentine.

The Winners and Runner-Ups will receive My Bestie digital stamps from a selection on offer.  All details can be found on the challenge blog.

Here is the card I created:



I used IMG962 which you can find here. She is coloured with Copics and fussy cut. I teamed her with some romantic glitter card and popped her on foam pads for some dimension. I made a dimensional heart from the glitter card and added a pearl trim.

* Scrapbook Stamp Society: Be Happy

Hello everyone!


Today I'm sharing my January DT project for 
Scrapbook Stamp Society. 

This month's challenge is Anything Goes.

The Winners and Runner-Ups will receive My Bestie digital stamps from a selection on offer.  All details can be found on the challenge blog.

I'm not a massive fan of winter and the cold, so I cheered myself up by making a bright, sunny card:



I used IMG006, one of the 'Fluffy' Besties, and coloured her with Copics.  The background of the image is lightly inked and cut with a stitched rectangle die. The background paper is glittered card and I tried to echo the image colours. I added a banner with a simple die cut, paper-pieced sentiment.

Scrapbook Stamp Society: Christmas Dinner

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing my second December DT project for 
Scrapbook Stamp Society. 

This is the reminder for the December challenge, which is Anything Goes, but as you would expect, this month we have an optional theme of Christmas. The challenge is open until January 14th.

The Winners and Runner-Ups will receive My Bestie digital stamps from a selection on offer. This time we have a 6 week challenge to take us over the holiday season and there are more prizes than usual! All details are on the challenge blog and there is a summary below:

Here is my card:

 I chose to use traditional Christmas colours to colour up the image. I fussy cut her and mounted her on foam pads onto patterned background paper. I distressed the edges of the papers and added some gold trim. I had a red poinsettia from The Ribbon Girl in my stash, so added this to the top left corner and die cut a sentiment from red and ivory card. I added some bling around the image mat.

Today I'm sharing my first December DT project for

The challenge is always Anything Goes, but this month we have an optional theme of Christmas

Here is my card:

I used Scan0046, Mr Snowman, and used a stitched rectangle die to cut him out. I coloured him with Copics and lightly inked the background with Spun Sugar.

The digital background paper is called Gothic Flakes by Lozzy and was a prize for winning a blog challenge. I added a strip of pink organza ribbon to the left side of the background and popped the image on foam pads in the centre, at a bit of an angle. I added an inked fir tree die cut to the right, some ribbon flower trim to the bottom edge and a swirl die cut to the top of the image.

Next, I made a small cluster embellishment from a die cut poinsettia with some pink glittery leaf fronds, natural fibres and pink beaded stamen.
