* Gecko Galz: Black & White and a Pop of Colour ATCs

Hello

The August Gecko Galz ATC Swap had the Black and White with a Pop of Colour theme.

This is what I made. with the specified collage sets.

I created a little folding book to tuck my 3 ATCs into. The photo above shows the booklet closed and the lacy bag I popped it into for transit.

I decorated each of the booklets 3 outside panels and popped the ATCs inside. All the sentiments are song titles or words from songs.

This photo shows the 3 ATCs. Unusually for me they are quite flat, but I did add some texture and interest with Glossy Accents and glitter to most of the images.

Here you can see the little tuck spots for each ATC.

My bubble blowing girl has glitter in her hair and Glossy Accent bubbles:

I gave the strawberry letters some Diamond Stickles glitter treatment to make it look plump and sumptuous. The spectacles have Glossy Accent and glitter lenses.

I decided to place two images together to make this ATC: Lots of glitter was added too:

And this shows the back of the booklet when it is opened out.

I added some extra decoration to the boots - the purple ones got polka dots, the mushroom ones got glitter and the swirly ones got dots and glitter. I liked these words from Nancy Sinatra's Boots song:

And the follow up Boots song words just asked to be placed with this fun image. The boots have Glossy Accents and the petals have pink glitter:

This lovely image looks so familiar and I have been racking my brains trying to think where I have seen it before. I love the optical illusion paper behind this one and made this the front cover:

* Gecko Galz: Bohemian ATCs

 Hello

This month at Gecko Galz we have a Bohemian ATC swap. I love all things Boho and so decided to take part.

We are given a set of background papers and a collage sheet of images in digital form and we are asked to make 3 ATCs - we can embellish them in any way we like.

Here are my ATCs:

I gave this lovely lady some flowers in her hair and added sequins and Glossy Accents to the background. Gold paint lines were also added and a cluster of die cut flowers.

This image makes me happy - music lifts the soul and dancing released those feel good endorphins.

How pretty is this lady! I gave her a rosy cheek and some flowers on her head-dress.
Each of the ATCs was matted onto thick gold card which acts nicely as a border. The same colours were used for the Tim Holtz die cut flowers and foliage.

I made a mixed media tag and a folder with a see-through, sequinned, fabric front to slot the ATCs into:

The card was coloured by smooshing it into puddles of Distress Oxides. Lots of white paint splatters were applied and some gold acrylic paint added along the edges. The tag was stitched to add a bit of strength and sturdiness and also to keep the ribbon in place.

This is what they look like packaged:

Here is the back of the folder with a lovely, heat embossed mandala pattern:

That's all for now!
There is still a little time for you to join our Sea of Dreams challenge where the winner will get a $25 shopping spree at the Gecko Galz shop.

* Gecko Galz: Goddess ATC Swap

Hello!

This month is swap month at the Gecko Galz. Paper Crafting Facebook Group.

Kim organises a swap every 2 months and a challenge even other month using selected Gecko Galz images and ATC papers which can be downloaded free from her blog.

The theme for April is Goddess ATCs and here is what I made:

I opted to use gold embellishments to decorate my goddesses, choosing Tim Holtz 3D Impresslits and a TH crochet border die. I threw some golden leaves in for good measure. I love working in miniature form and really enjoyed making these.

Below is a close up of each ATC:

This one uses the 3D Star border Impresslit and the smaller star Impresslit.

For this one, I used the small Star border Impresslit, a mini Cut & Make doily die with a small section of Crochet Border. I used up some ancient gold sticker borders too!

The third ATC has a small Star border and a large Star Impresslit with some leaves cut from a 'Rose Leaf Strip' Britannia die.

That's all for today.

You still have time to join the Gecko Galz customer challenge. The theme for April is Blooming Beauty and the winner will get a $25 shopping spree at the Gecko Galz shop.

The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product

* Gecko Galz: Victoria Garden ATC Swap

Hello

Today I am sharing a set of ATCs I made for a swap with Gecko Galz.. We were given the background Victorian Garden ATC set and the Victorian Garden collage images to work with.

Here is what I made:

The little girls are so pretty - I fussy cut each girl and inked the edges with Vintage Photo ink. I adhered the ATC onto a piece of kraft card, distressing and inking both the paper and the card. I added a strip of recycled corrugated card to the bottom of the ATC to ground my girls. I also added a piece of die cut lace cut from kraft card and edged each with a strip of gems. The girls were popped up on foam and a piece of cheesecloth placed behind them. Each ATC was given a garden themed sentiment. I made backs for the ATCs:

Here is a look at each ATC:

And finally, here is a photo to show the bits and bobs I added to the Happy Mail package.

That's all for now.

Thank you for looking!
