Limited Runs: Elmo Emu Love

Hello!

The sun is shining here and it looks like a good day for getting into the garden and having a tidy up.....

Before I do that, I'm sharing a card I made for the Progressive Challenge at Limited Runs' Facebook Group.
The challenge is open until April 15th, but you must use the Elmo digital stamp. If you don't have the image, you can buy it for just $1 and the next image will be sent to you for the next challenge.

Here is the card I made:

I paired Elmo with three 'Love' images from Vera Lane Studio. All images were coloured with alcohol markers and fussy cut, then popped on foam pads. The background paper is Easter Plaid from Gecko Galz.

Thanks for stopping by today.

ATC: Marilynn

Hello!

Today I'm showing my ATC for a swap organised in the Limited Runs Facebook Group.

I used a lovely digi stamp called Marilynn and love the way her skirt is swirling in the wind like the iconic image of Marilyn Monroe.

I hope my ATC finds its way safely to its new home on the other side of the world.

The background is a gelli print which, when dry, was spritzed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Gold. The image was coloured with alcohol pens and fussy cut, leaving a thin white border. It was popped on foam pads to give some dimension. A strip of pink gems was glued to the left side of the ATC and a printed sentiment with a Marilyn quote was inked in pink and adhered to the pink gems. Clear gems were scattered around the image and the ATC card edges were inked in black to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Limited Runs: Little Boy

Hello!

Here's a quick and simple card I made for the new progressive freebie challenge at Limited Runs.

If you'd like to take part, the challenge is in the Limited Runs Facebook Group, but it does close on 15th March - I'm on the last minute, as usual! If you enter this challenge, you automatically qualify for the next challenge's free image.

The adorable image, called Little Boy, is coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut leaving a thin white border. His eyes have Glossy Accents to make them shine and his hat bobble has iridescent glitter. He is attached on foam pads to a rectangle of patterned paper from Trim Craft. I inked the edges of the paper so that they were more defined against the yellow striped background paper, also from Trim Craft.  The sentiments are dinkie stamps from LC Designs.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Little Tree ATC

Hello!

Happy Friday to you!

The temperature is freezing and the snow arrived!

Today I'm posting an ATC I made for a swap with Limited Runs in their Facebook group.

I bought this lovely Limited Runs digital image in December and never got around to using it, so I thought I'd make my ATC with it.  It's called Little Tree.

I printed the image twice, resizing it for the second print, so that the tree is larger than the girl. I  fussy cut the girl and tree and coloured them with Spectrum Noir markers. Clear Nuvo Crystal Drops  were added to the baubles/snow on the tree and glitter to the star.
The background was made by ink blending my card using Memento Rosebud and Tim Holtz Crushed Olive. I added some stamped text in Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink. The tree was glued directly onto the card, and the little girl popped up on foam pads. The sentiment is from Vera Lane Studio Sentiments set 1. Once cut out, it was inked around the edges and popped on foam pads. A hand drawn border finishes it off.

Thanks for stopping by today.
