* Vera Lane Studio: Sauvignon Blanc

Hello

It's Monday and my Vera Lane Studio DT day.

Today Janet has released a new digi set called Sauvignon Blanc. It features a cute girl with an oversized glass of wine. She has a separate wine bottle and wine glass for accessories and two sentiments.

Here is what I made:

I started by making the ATC. The background is stencil stamped using Oxide inks. I added a little black stamping and lots of white paint splatters. The character is coloured with Copics, fussy cut and adhered onto torn washi tape which grounds her. The sentiment was cut into strips and outlined in black.. I decided to make a background, again stamping with a stencil loaded with Oxide inks. It was matted onto black card and a piece of velvet trim was added along the bottom portion, A knot bow was placed on top of the trim and everything was adhered onto an A6 card base.

Vera lane Studio: Winter Magic

Hello

It's Monday, it's Christmas Day and it's my Vera Lane Studio DT day.

A short while ago a digi set called Waddle On was released. It features two cute penguins with separate hats (a choice of two) and three sentiments.

Here is what I made:

Isn't this the sweetest penguin!

My penguin CAS card has a simple stencilled background using Broken China Distress Oxide through an AALL & Create stencil. I added white paint splatters and popped the fussy cut, Copic coloured penguin on top. I added the fussy cut Winter Magic sentiment.

* Path of Positivity #117 Midway: Grown with Love

Hello

Welcome to the midway reminder for the November Path of Positivity Challenge.

Our challenge is always Anything Goes with an optional theme.

This month's option is to design a project that is inspired by TEXTURE.

Honours and Prizes include:

$6 worth of images from Scribbles Designs, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
A badge for the following honours: Top Pick, Voter's Choice, Most Inspirational, Random Winner, DT Delight.

Here is my midway DT project:

My project was totally inspired by watching some of Tracy Evans's YouTube videos. I love the stencilled, crackle paste, textured background and the vintage colours from the Distress Oxide ink spray. Tracy's video can be viewed here: Stencils and Texture. The boots and cyclamen are stamped and partially coloured with Inktense watercolour pencils, and this arrangement was inspired by Tracey's snippet video: Snippet #3.

Vera Lane Studio: Present, Patient, Peaceful

Hello

It's Monday and my Vera Lane Studio DT day.

Today at Vera Lane Studio we have a new digi set release. The set is called called Present, Patient, Peaceful and features a lovely, long legged girl laying in the meadow, some grasses, a couple of flowers, a sun and a cloud. The three words 'Present, Patient, Peaceful' form the sentiment.

Here is my project:

I coloured the images with Copics and fussy cut them. I made the background by stamping with a stencil loaded with Oxide inks,. I added some white embossed hearts and some crackle texture hearts using an AALL & Create stencil. A little black stamping was added around the edges and lots of white splatters. I grounded my girl by making a shadow with with Inktense watercolour pencils.

* Vera Lane Studio: Australia

Hello

It's Monday and my Vera Lane Studio DT day.

Today Janet is releasing a fantastic new digi set called Australia. It features an Outback boy and girl, a kiwi bird, a koala bear and two sentiments.

Here is my project:

Aren't they the sweetest pair! I coloured the images with Copics and Polychromo pencils. I borrowed rocks from the 'Be a Sunflower' set and a cloud from 'My Vespa'.

The background is stamped with Oxide inks on a stencil from AALL & Create. I added white splatters, some white embossing and some black stamping around the edges.
