At Crafts Galore Encore we have monthly sponsored challenges. The challenges are always Anything Goes and we would love it if you could join in the fun.
This month we are sponsored by Andrea from SheepSki Designs. Andrea gave the DT some digi images to use and I chose Bartholomew #192, the steampunk cat. Here is what I made:
I coloured Bartholomew with Copic markers and fussy cut him. The background was started by smooshing, dipping and dabbing white card into Broken China Distress Oxide spritzed with water. I inked an AALL & Create stencil with Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo, spritzed it with lightly with water, and used it to stamp the cogs. Some digits were stamped to create a bit more background interest and they were also added in black around the edges. Some gold Posca pen paint was splattered along with black spatters. The sentiment is from Carmen's Veranda - they have the best sentiment stamps and all their other stamps are fabulous too! It was stamped onto card coloured with Rusty Huge Distress Oxide. The cat and sentiment were popped on foam tape for dimension and the whole thing was mounted onto antique gold, then black card. Here is a close up:
