{Pin}spirational Challenges: Noelle Shaker

Hello Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge at 

{Pin}spirational Challenges.

I've decided to step down from the DT, so this is to be my last project for Pinsirational challenges. I'd like to say a big thank you to Deanne for running the challenges and the rest of the DT for their inspiration.

Here is the inspiration photo for Challenge #206 which be open until the 2nd January.

Here is the card I made:



I decided to follow the colour scheme this time and had a new stamp called Noelle from Limited Runs which was ideal for this! I coloured her with Copics and fussy cut her leaving a thin white border, so she stands out against the patterned paper. I made a shaker box and added some red, green and gold sequins, along with some iridescent Fairy Dust glitter.

* {Pin}spirational Challenges: Snowman

Hello Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge at 

{Pin}spirational Challenges.

Here is the inspiration photo for Challenge #206 which will run for 2 weeks 
(5th December to 18th December).

Our sponsor this time is the wonderful Fabrika Fantasy and The Cutting Cafe. 

  

    

I had the perfect stamp for this challenge, so here is the card I made:

My stamp was a prize from a challenge blog. It is coloured with Copics and cut with a stitched circle die. The background paper replicates the background of the photo inspiration, I think. I used textured navy paper for the mats. A piece of lace was added along the bottom of the card and the image was popped on top.

{Pin}spirational Challenges: Coffee

Hello Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge at 

{PIN}spirational Challenges.



Here is the inspiration photo for Challenge #205 which will run for 2 weeks 
(21 November - 4th December).

Our sponsor this time is the wonderful Scribbles Designs.

    

I was lucky to receive a Scribbles digital stamp to work with called #917 Coffee. 

Here is my card:

I paper pieced my coffee cup with G45 Twelve Days Of Christmas paper. The edges were inked with Vintage Photo ink and the sleeve was made from Kraft card. I wound baker's twine around the sleeve and added a punched heart with a smaller heart coated with Glossy Accents. I made a banner using a Cheery Lynn Banner die and more G45 papers. Another Glossy Accented heart was added to the banner. The sentiment is from Create With TLC, die cut with a stitched rectangle die and matted onto co-ordinating paper.

Hello Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge at

I was lucky to receive a My Besties digital stamp to work with called . Here is my card:



I used markers to colour the image and added some highlights with a white Post pen. I cut it with a stitched rectangle die, and leaving the die in place, I lightly inked the background.with Memento Nautical Blue. I added some die cut butterflies and some paper flowers to which I added a pearl centre. The sentiment is from a Gecko Galz collage sheet called Charming Words.

* {Pin}spirational Challenges: Giraffe

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge at 

{PIN}spirational Challenges.

Here is the inspiration photo for Challenge #199 which will run for 2 weeks 
(September 12th to Sept 25th).

I was lucky to receive a Bugaboo digital stamp to work with called Bug giraffe 3. Here is my card:

I coloured the images with copics, then cut them out and mounted them onto die cut scalloped squares. I made the background out of kraft card using a stencil and inks - my aim was to try to replicate giraffe skin, but the colours didn't quite work out right!  The background was matted onto black card. The three block images were attached to the card along with the two die cut banner sentiments which were stamped and heat embossed.
