My Besties at Crafts Galore Encore

Hello!

I'm over the moon to be writing my first post as part of the DT for

This month we are sponsored by the lovely Sherri Baldy, creator of My Besties.
You can visit her at My Besties Shop.com or at her Etsy Store.

Sherri is offering these 3 digi stamps , as used by the Crafts Galore Encore DT, as prize for the winner:
We hope you'll play along.

The theme this month is
use a digi or stamp anywhere on your project.

I used Img 875 which you can find here.

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir markers. Pink and green is one of my favourite colour combinations. A Cottage Cutz stitched rectangle die was used to cut around the image which was then matted onto pink and green textured card.
The background paper is from the Nitwit Collections and is called Time for Tea. The image was attached on foam pads. Die cut Tattered Lace Spring Wreaths were entwined around diagonally opposite corners. I made two flowers with the Spellbinders Create a Gerber die, and coloured them with Memento ink in Rose Bud and Bamboo Leaves.
A die cut Cheery Lynn Pierced Banner was attached with the sentiment.

Silver Moonbeams

Hello

Here is a card I made for a Silver Wedding Anniversary.

The image is from Gecko Galz, from a collage sheet called Moonbeams. I framed it in pink glitter card and matted it onto a black, die-cut, stitched rectangle.
I used black card as the background and added a Spellbinders Shapeabilities ornate frame called 'Floral Affair' in silver. This die cuts and embosses. The image was added on top of the frame, at a slight angle, on foam pads. Punched hearts were added to the corners and a Tattered Lace 'Blossoms' die-cut flower was created in pink, silver and black. A Papermania tag sentiment finished it off.

The inside was lined in pink paper. A black border was die cut with a border punch for the edge of the card. Hearts were added in diagonally opposite corners and a computer generated verse was printed, die cut and attached.

Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo

CAS: Patterned Paper

This week #274 at Less Is More is Lucky Dip Week and the challenge is to use designer paper in a CAS style.

I hope what I made qualifies.

I started with embossed white card and added a die cut, black stitched frame on foam pads. I used a Tattered Lace Flower die to cut three lacy flowers from patterned Deco Time paper. A silver, shimmer glitter dome was added to the centre of each flower and the flowers were glued on to the card.

The sentiment was die cut from black card and a second from white card. These were glued together to give a shadow effect and attached to the bottom right of the card.

I'd like to enter these challenges:

Hello Dotty

The challenge this week at Less is More is to use Polkadots.
The challenge at Dragonfly Journeys is 'As Good as Gold'.

Here is my make for these challenges:

It is a very simple card made from die-cut polkadot card.
The card is from Deco Time and is glittered, golden-coloured, tiny polkadots. The two end strips and the wreath were cut from this.
The bird and the sentiment were cut from gold mirror card.
The die used is the Tattered Lace Wreath Die.
