Here is what I made as inspiration for the Customer Challenge.
It's a Mini Pocket Tag Booklet:

The images are all from Gecko Galz. I used Blooming Ladies,
Floral Tea (one of last month's 'free with purchase' collage sheet), the tea cup collage set from April 2024's monthly kit called Douces Fleurs Du Printemps (not in the shop just yet) and sentiments from Garden Sentiments.

The front of the booklet:

The back of the booklet:

And the booklet opened up:

I made the booklet with white card, then added the brayered acrylic painted backgrounds which were heat embossed in white using a Tim Holtz floral background stamp. The edges of the pages were inked. The inside pages form three pockets for the tags to be tucked inside. The tags have paint splatters and flower images.

I also made a set of cards:

I used my favourite ATCs (Dream Garden) for the centre piece and used a scalpel to cut along the florals. I tucked a dancing lady into the opening so that she appears to be dancing through the garden flowers. The background is floral glittered paper from my stash.
I'd like to enter my trio of cards into these challenges:

And lastly, two digital collages:

I used the Carved Flowers paper pack for the backgrounds. The lady in purple is one of the Blooming Ladies, whilst the lady in cream is one of the Romantic Ballerinas.

Path of Positivity: Express Yourself with Art

Hello

Welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge. #121.

Our challenge is always Anything Goes with an optional theme. We have decided that our overall theme for 2024 will be THE POWER OF WORDS.

This month's option is to design a project that is inspired by quotes about Art /Creativity.

Here are this month's quotes, but you can choose your own:

“Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking what no one else ever thought.” — Albert Einstein

“Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen.” — Oprah Winfrey

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” — Pablo Picasso

“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” — Edgar Degas

“You use a glass mirror to see your face. You use works of art to see your soul.” — George Bernard Shaw

Honours and Prizes include:
  • $6 worth of images from Scribbles Designs, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • A badge for the following honours: Top PickVoter's ChoiceMost InspirationalRandom WinnerDT Delight.
Here is my DT project.

I used an old Woodware stamp called Van Cat and coloured him with Copics. He was fussy cut and I made him a paint splattered background using a star stencil from AALL & Create to add Oxide inks to the background then I added stamped splatters (also an AALL & Create stamp) in Versafine. The sentiment is a mixture of words from Visible Image and AALL & Create.

That's all for now.

Conjurer of Dreams: Nature's Embrace

Hello

Today I'm sharing some projects I made using Conjurer of Dreams images. I hope you'll pop over to the store and take a look at the Digital Art on sale for collage, scrapbooks, journals, cards and more.

The theme this month is Nature's Embrace.

Here is what I made:

It's a perpetual calendar in the form of a Pinwheel Tower. Each quarter has a different season featuring the beautiful images from Seasons along with tiny die cut letters spelling out the season's name.. Opposite the image page is a page with a pocket holding monthly calendars. There is also a quote and a sentiment. The pages are made from card smooshed in puddles of Distress Oxide inks.
Here are the individual seasons:

I'd like to enter these challenges:

I also made a pair of cards using the gorgeous images from the Serene set:

Once again I used the smooshing technique to add Distress Oxide ink to white card. The images did not need anything added to them, so I opted for die cut, black, silhouette style wild flowers. I raised a banner on foam tape, added die cut tiny letters to spell out 'hello' and a gemstone flower.

I'd like to enter these challenges:

Cut It Up Challenges #303 Add a Sentiment 15/05
As You Like It Challenge Soft or Bold colours 15/05
Bold colours are my choice most of the time. I love vibrant colours - they make me happy!
Crafty Catz Challenge #671 Summer 16/05
Patties Creations Challenge #218 AG 05/06

And finally some digital collages.

First I have 3 Grumpy Seniors Camping collages. If you look carefully I added tiny Bohemian Butterflies and Spring Mice :)

Here is the Summer Seasons image with a pair from the Grumpy Seniors Camping. There are some Bohemian Butterflies and a Spring Mouse:

And this one has the gorgeous Spring Mice combined together:

Here are the CoD products I used:

That's all for now.

Today is my DT day and I have some projects to share.

Firstly, I have a Diamond Pop Out card:

I used the beautiful spring girl images from the In Dreams Junk Journal Kit. I used a circle die to cut them and placed one on each of the three pop out diamond panels.  The base of the card id purple card and I used patterned paper from my stash for the background.matting onto white card.. I decorated the diamond panels with paper flowers and foliage and added die cut butterfly borders to the accordion part of the card.

Here are the different ways of folding the card for posting:

Next I made a spring banner decoration:

I used a die to cut the banner flags. Two flags were cut for each - the larger flags were coloured with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide and the smaller flags were die cut from the Rainbow Connection ATC papers.. I added pink satin ribbon to hold the flags together.

The lovely children images are from the Spring Charms, and Easter Children collage sets. The lamb and chicK are from the Easter Tokens collage set. All of the images were fussy cut, inked around the edges and popped on foam pads for some dimension. Some cheesecloth was placed beneath each image for a bit of texture and interest. I added handmade, die cut, paper flowers and foliage to finish off the bunting.
