Crafts Galore Encore: Cats with Cups

Hello
and
Happy New Year!
Today sees that start of a new challenge at Crafts Galore Encore.

The theme is always 'Anything Goes' and you can enter up to 3 different projects.  The challenge runs all month until mid day (GMT) 30th January..

This month's challenge is sponsored by the wonderful Wendy from WendyLynn's Paper Whims and the random winner will receive their choice of 2 digital collage sheets from her store..

Here is what I made:

It's a mini book made from memorydex die cut cards.
Here are the inside pages:

I coloured the card using Distress Inks on an acrylic block. The inks were spritzed with water then stamped onto the card. Once dry, I stamped some patterns and added some heat embossed script writing. Some white paint splatters were also added.

The gorgeous collage sheet, called Cats with Cups, was cut up to reveal 8 beautiful woodblock style cats. Aren't they adorable. I inked around the edges of each block in black ink and adhered them to the pages.

I gathered some cat quotes from an internet search and typed them into word. They were printed and cut into strips. The strips were adhered and partly outlined in black pen.

And here is the back of the booklet:

The booklet is held together with discs.
