Gecko Galz: Springtime in Paris

Hello

It's a new month and we have a new customer challenge over at the Gecko Galz blog.  

The theme this month is Springtime in Paris.

As always, we have free images to download to make projects to enter the Card Challenge, the Christmas Image Challenge, the Fantasy Challenge, an ATC challenge, a Steampunk Challenge and a Gothic Challenge,. The free images can be accessed by the tabs at the top of the main blog page. We also have a quarterly challenge on the blog.

If that isn't enough challenges, we also have 4 Facebook challenges each month.

The winner of the Customer challenge will get a $25 Gecko Galz Etsy Store voucher and the runner up a $12 voucher. There are plenty of free Gecko Galz images if you don't already own any. Each blog post has a free image to collect and, if you sign up for the monthly newsletter, there is the chance to claim a free collage set each month.  Also if you make any purchase of $2 or more you receive a free collage sheet.

Here are the projects I made.

A mini book:

Here is the front of the book, decorated with an image from the April 2025 Springtime in Paris Junk Journal Kit. The pages are made from double sided cardstock from my stash. I scored and creased 2cm along the side of each page and punched two holes so that the book could be held together with ribbon.

 

The following pages have images from the Versailles Collage set and icons from the Springtime in Paris Junk Journal Kit:

Next is a greeting card using a lovely image from the Versaille collage set. I added it to pink paper and gold mats and die cut some florals to decorate. The sentiment was die cut in two different pink colours  and put together, a fiddly task, but most satisfying once done!

And lastly some digital, snarky posters. All use images from Versailles.

Conjurer of Dreams: Mythical Creatures

 

Hello

Today I'm sharing some projects I made using Conjurer of Dreams images. I hope you'll pop over to the store and take a look at the Digital Art on sale for collage, scrapbooks, journals, cards and more.

We have an open, worldwide challenge at the Conjurer of Dreams Blog.

The challenge theme is always 'Anything Goes' and this month we have a twist of 'Mythical Animals'.

We hope you'll share your projects with us.

Here is what I made:

Here I used Dragon Scales background papers and one of the Dragon Maiden images. Dies were used to cut the image and mats and gold mesh fabric was placed beneath the image. The sentiment was typed and printed and cut into strips.

This memory-dex card also uses Dragon Scales and two of the Dragon Maidens:

The following digital pieces were composed in Picmonkey:

I used one of the six Crystal Cave Entrance for the background and one of the Dragon Maidens.

This one uses another Crystal Cave Entrance for the background and one of the gorgeous Magical Unicorn images. The tiny fairy is from Petal

Here I used Purple Silk background and one of the magical images from the Seahorse Ride set. The coral pieces are from Coral Clip Art and the Starfish from my stash.

This very cute Mystical Beast is in front of a Gothic Door and fplaced in an Ivy Frame
