Garden of Dreams

The challenge theme at Gecko Galz this month is Garden of Dreams

I was the winner at Gecko Galz's May challenge with this card!

I chose to make this small circular shaped card out of ivory pearlescent card.

The challenge stipulates that you need to use at least one image from Gecko Galz Studios. I used the yellow gowned lady from Pop of Colour and gave her some wings from the Butterfly Wings collection.
The background is ivory card, dry embossed using ink applied with a brayer in a technique I found here.  The embossing folder is X-Cut's Damask background and the ink is Memento Nautical Blue. Unfortunately, I lost some of the embossed surface when I ran the card through the die cutting machine, but the printed patten remained. Note to self: next time die cut the shape before embossing!
The ivory flowers were glued around the image with pearl stamen and iridescent glitter was applied to the edges of the petals. Glitter was also applied to the butterfly wings.
Tiny adhesive pearl dots were  randomly placed on the background and a tiny yellow bow finished it off.

I'm entering this for the following challenges:

Gecko Galz - Garden of Dreams

Digi Choosday Challenge 19 - Anything but Square

Glitter N' Sparkle Challenge 189 - Anything Goes
