* Crafts Galore Encore: Spring Flower Hair

Hello!

May is one of my favourite months and it brings another Anything Goes challenge at Crafts Galore Encore. 

The sponsor this month is A Day For Daisies and they are offering the winner an $8 gift card, which will purchase two fabulous digi stamps.

Tammy, the owner of A Day For Daisies, kindly gave the DT images to work with and here is my project:

I used the image called Spring Flower Hair and was inspired by a card I saw, using the same image, on the ADFD blog by Kristina Dishon. I loved the floral paper, so searched my stash and this is my interpretation of Kristina's card.

I coloured the image with Copic markers and die cut it with a Sue Wilson stitched die. Leaving the die in place I blended Memento Desert Sand ink onto the image background. I added some Diamond Stickles to the centre of the daisies in her hair for a touch of sparkle. I matted the image onto a piece of textured black paper. 

I found the two pieces of co-ordinating papers in a pad. One was cut to 12 x 12 cm and the yellow one was cut with the largest Pierced Banner Die from Cheery Lynn. Both were matted onto black textured paper.

The image and mat were attached on foam tape for some dimension. Three Little Birdie mulberry flowers and three leaves were added to the corner of the image as a finishing touch.
