Hello
The background was made to shimmer with a faux mother of pearl effect, using metallic white acrylic paint applied with a baby wipe and, when dry, blending inks on top. It doesn't really show in the photo, but it catches the light beautifully. Some texture was added to the 'pool' with tiny squares stamped in Grey Flannel. Blue dyed gauze was added along the bottom. The ATC was edged in black ink and I drew a border.
The image was coloured with Spectrum Noir markers. It was fussy cut and attached on foam pads.
Next, I made a simple 'over the edge' card, using the ATC as a topper.
I used some Boardwalk design paper from Carta Bella as the background and matted it onto black card. The ATC was matted onto black, then boardwalk DP, then black and finally cream to match the card.
Die cut leaves and a die cut flower embellishment were added. Part of the sentiment was computer generated, printed and matted on to black card then attached on foam pads. The word 'sunshine' was die cut four times and stuck together. The colour was achieved by lightly blending Spiced Marmalade ink on to it.
Thanks for stopping by today.
xoxo
