Hello crafty friends!
As always the challenge is Anything Goes and we would love to see your creations!
This month we are sponsored by the wonderful
Fred She Said who are offering a whopping $10 to spend in their online store to the winner of this challenge.
I was lucky to receive a digi stamp called Emma the Skating Elf, and here is the card I made:
I initially cut the image out with a fancy oval die and coloured it with Copics. However, when I came to colour the background, I made a mess! I didn't have the oval straight, so my tree line was at a crazy angle. So....hmmm ... what to do? I fussy cut her and gave her a snowy fir tree backdrop on red mirror card. I triple heat embossed some white tinsel EP onto the fir tree branches and popped Emma on top of them on foam pads.
The background paper is gorgeous, I think; a mass of holly leaves and berries - it is BoBunny Rejoice paper that I won as a challenge prize for one of my makes. I inked the edges in red and matted it onto red paper. I made a banner for the left hand side of the card and attached red ribbon and some sparkly trim. I don't have a holly leaf die (it's on my 'must buy' list now!) so I improvised with a foliage die - adding colour to the white die-cut card and applying Glossy Accents over the coloured red berries. As it blended into the background paper, I attached a white die cut underneath, off setting it slightly, and added a few small leaf fronds. I made a double bow to hold my foliage in place. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.

I hope you'll pop to over to Crafts Galore Encore to see the DT's wonderful designs.
We'd love to see your creations.
Remember the challenge is always 'Anything Goes' and so you can create any type of project - it doesn't have to be a card.
Thanks for stopping by today!
