Hello everyone!
This month at Gecko Galz our customer challenge theme is 'Putting on the Green'.
There is still plenty time to play along and we would love to see your projects. You can see my other Putting on the Green cards here.
I must admit, green is one of my favourite colours. I made this green card using paper from the Gatsby paper pack, an image from the Visions in Green collage sheet, and the word 'celebrate' from the Charming Words collage set. I used black card to mat the image and paper and green card for my base mat and side banner. The gorgeous stick pin embellishment was part of a prize that I won at the MAWTT challenge blog, and it was made by the very talented Wendy Townsend - thank you!
This easel card is made from kraft card using Gypsy Market papers as the background with another image from the Visions in Green collage sheet. The sentiments on the front and inside are from the Charming Words collage sheet. The papers, image and sentiments all have their edges inked with Vintage Photo. Some ribbons and pearls add the finishing touches to this card. The 'stopper' on the inside of the card is a die cut banner that I altered to make into a rectangle - it is popped on foam, so that the easel sits behind it.

Next, as it is so close to February 14th, I have a trio of 'love' cards.
The sentiments are generic, so that the cards can be used as Valentine cards, anniversary cards or even engagement cards:
The cards were very easy to make - just simple matting and layering with the addition of some lace. I let the beautiful papers and the images do all the work. The image and sentiment on each card is popped on foam pads.
Here is a closer look at each one:
Paper - Czarina digital kit
Image - Retro Love Story
Sentiment - Charming Words
That's all from me for now!
I hope you'll join our 'Putting on the Green' challenge.
The winner and DT Favourite get a whopping $25 shopping spree at the Gecko Galz shop.
The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product ...
(this can be one of the freebies or, of course, you can buy at the Etsy store!)
