Hello!

December brings the final challenge of the year to Crafts Galore Encore. The theme, as always, is Anything Goes and we would love for you to join us!

 The generous sponsor this month is Lizzie Love from Oddball Art and the lucky winner will get a $10 store voucher.

I was lucky to receive a digi stamp to work with and I chose Alex's Christmas Holiday. Here is what I made:

I coloured Alex with Copics and added some white Posca pen highlights. I fussy cut her, leaving a thin white border. I made an inky background using an Inkylicious stamp loaded with Distress Oxides and Brilliance metallic gold ink. The stamp was spritzed with water to activate the inks and stamped onto white card. Once the ink was dry, I added some Memento black ink to the stamp's edges and re-stamped. Crystal Stickles was applied in dots to the edges of the stamping for extra sparkle. Alex was placed towards the left and  gold and black die cut sentiments were added. Unfortunately the card I used buckled more than I expected with the use of the water - I hope to get a chance to re-stamp the background. 

The white card was matted onto black card and lastly onto gold card, then adhered to the 7 x 7 inch card base.
