Hello!
October brings a new challenge at Crafts Galore Encore. The theme is always 'Anything Goes' and we would love for you to join in!
This month we are sponsored by the fabulous Limited Runs Digital Stamps and the lucky winner will get to choose 3 digi images from the store.
I was lucky to get a Limited Runs digi to work with and I chose Winter Fox. Here is my card:
I printed the Winter Fox image out three times and coloured each one with Copic markers. I fussy cut the images and layered them with foam pads to produce a 3D image to pop onto the background. The background was made with Distress Oxide Inks, dabbed onto the mixed media card with a damp baby wipe. The edges were inked in Faded Denim and black. I added some text stamping and heat embossed some tiny snowflakes in white. I also added some white paint splatters, both to the background and to the image to give the impression of snowfall. Beneath the fox and pine trees, I adhered some crystal snow and finally printed out the sentiment, stuck it directly to the background and outlined it with a black fine liner.
