Vera Lane Studio: Tall Town

Hello!
   

Today I'm sharing my DT project for Vera Lane Studio.

Today sees the release of a new set of digis called Tall Town and I made a journal page with them:

These tall buildings are really quite funky and super easy to colour up and fussy cut. I coloured them with alcohol pens in pastel colours and set them against a night-time sky created with Brushos and distress inks, splattered with white paint and heat embossed with gold stars.

I added some book paper clouds and a die cut tree.

Vera Lane Studio: Fayette Fairy

Hello!
  

Today I'm sharing another of my 'Wings' DT projects for Vera Lane Studio.

I made this simple little card using the lovely Fayette Fairy set:



The background is a gelli print which has heat embossed stars/specks in white glitter. 
The lacey ribbon was gifted to me in a swap. The image is attached on foam pads. I added the sentiment on silver glitter card for extra sparkle.

Vera Lane Studio: Dorothy

Hello!
  

Today I'm sharing another of my DT projects for Vera Lane Studio.
This week, in our Facebook Group, we have a 'Wings' theme.

I made this using the Wings set and the Dorothy set:

The background is a gelli print with inked edges. The images are coloured with alcohol pens. Craft feathers were placed beneath the wings. Dorothy and Toto were popped on foam pads and given Glossy Accent eyes.

Vera Lane Studio: Things with Wings

Today I'm sharing my DT project for Vera Lane Studio.
This week, in our Facebook Group, we have a 'Things with Wings' theme.

I have a few projects to share, but for today I'm showing two cards that I made with the Ladies Who Lunch and Wings:



One of the great things about digital images is that they can be re-sized and arranged together before being printed.  I gave my Ladies Who Lunch some butterfly wings.
I used alcohol markers to colour the winged ladies.
The backgrounds are made with Brushos. Once dry, the card was sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give the backgrounds a lovely shimmery effect. Next, the card edges were inked in black and stamped with an Inkilicious Olive Branch stamp.
The winged ladies were popped on foam pads and the sentiments glued directly onto the background. 
Each card was matted onto black card, then adhered to a card base.

I think the cards look much nicer in real life - the shimmery effect can't really be seen properly on the photos.

This little lady has some Liquid Peals around her neck and white gel pen dots on her dress and wings.
