• Vera Lane Studio: Princesses

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing two cards using digi sets from Vera Lane Studio. This month we have a Royalty theme, so both of my cards feature a princess.

Here is my first card:

This princess is from The Good One set which is part of The Oz Collection. I coloured the princess with markers and added glitter to her crown jewels, dress trim and eye lids. I matted her onto black card, as the background is quite fussy, and popped her on foam pads. I printed the sentiment, cut it into strips, inked it and matted it onto black card.  The background was made by stamping with an embossing folder. I gave her a majestic looking, Moroccan tile background using several shades of blue distress inks.

My second princess card:

This princess is from the Kiss The Frog digi set. She's not quite decided if she should risk the kiss or not!  The images were coloured with markers, fussy cut and attached on foam pads with a strip of washi tape to ground them. The sentiment comes with the set. The background is a gelli print, spritzed with Glimmer Mist and splattered with black paint.
