* Vera Lane Studio: Coffee Love

Hello!

Do you love coffee?  Do you love cake?
I certainly do!!!

Here's a card I made for a friend's birthday using Vera Lane Studio digi stamps. I added a Costa Gift Voucher for a coffee and cake treat:

I used the lovely Coffee Love (not currently in the shop, but available from Janet on request) and Cake Sketches. The images are coloured with Copics, fussy cut and Glossy Accents strategically added!  I used kraft card for the background, using a scalloped square die and inked the edges with Vintage Photo ink. The sentiment comes with the Coffee Mugs digi set.

Here is a different version with a gelli print background:

* Gecko Galz: Snow Play Tag

Hello crafty friends!

At the Gecko Galz blog, we are currently featuring The Tags of December event. Each day on the blog, a tag by one of the talented DT members is featured.

There are free digi stamps for every visitor and prize packs for one Gecko Galz blog follower each day, so be sure not to miss this event!

Here is the second tag I made:

I used paper from the Timeless mini paper pack for the background and inked the edges with Vintage Photo. Some cheesecloth was adhered to the central part of the tag along with a strip of raffia trim towards the bottom. The images were fussy cut from collage sheets (snowgirl is from Wintertime, sled children are from Christmas Cuties and the robin is from Let It Snow Jewel It) and the edges were inked. The snowball girl and the robin are adhered with foam pads for some dimension.

Here are closer looks:

I added two wooden snowflakes, coating them lightly with gesso and, when dry, inking the edges. A star and snowflake sequin, along with a crystal gem, were added on top of the snowflakes.

I typed the sentiment, cut it into a rectangle and inked the edges; it is popped on foam to sit above the raffia trim.
The robin was given some winter white dried flowers and a hessian ribbon bow to sit upon.

That's all from me for now!

I hope you'll join our 'Dashing Through The Snow' challenge. It runs until the end of December. Please remember to use at least one Gecko Galz image.
The winner and DT Favourite get a whopping $25 shopping spree at the Gecko Galz shop.

Thanks for stopping by today.

* Vera Lane Studio: Matilda's New Year

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing a bright and quirky New Year greeting card for Vera Lane Studio.

The image and sentiment are from a set called Matilda's New Year. Isn't she fabulous! She is coloured with Copics and fussy cut and she is popped on foam pads for dimension. A simple patterned paper background is all she needed.

The set also has two 'everyday' Matildas, so the set is versatile for all year round creativity!

Vera Lane Studio: Rudolf

Hello everyone!

It's Monday, so it's my DT day at Vera Lane Studio.  Of course, today is no ordinary Monday - it's Christmas Day, so I'd like to wish each one of you a very
Happy Christmas!

Here is my card:

Rudolf was coloured with Copics and fussy cut. He's popped on foam pads onto some raffia trim and a background of patterned paper with stencilled modelling paste and fairy dust glitter. The papers' edges are inked with Vintage Photo. The sentiment is from the Fayette Fairy set.

{Pin}spirational Challenges: Noelle Shaker

Hello Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge at

{Pin}spirational Challenges.

I've decided to step down from the DT, so this is to be my last project for Pinsirational challenges. I'd like to say a big thank you to Deanne for running the challenges and the rest of the DT for their inspiration.

Here is the inspiration photo for Challenge #206 which be open until the 2nd January.

Our sponsor this time is the wonderful Sasayaki Glitter.

Here is the card I made:

I decided to follow the colour scheme this time and had a new stamp called Noelle from Limited Runs which was ideal for this! I coloured her with Copics and fussy cut her leaving a thin white border, so she stands out against the patterned paper. I made a shaker box and added some red, green and gold sequins, along with some iridescent Fairy Dust glitter.

That's all from me today...

hope you'll pop over to
to check out the gorgeous designs by the rest of the DT.

We would love for you to take part in the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Vera Lane Studio: Winter Sisters

Hello everyone!

Once again it's my DT day at Vera Lane Studio and I'm staying with the winter theme.

Here is my card:

I used the beautiful Winter Sisters and coloured them with Copics. They are set onto a background made from neutral patterned paper to which I added some snow mounds with modelling paste and a palette knife. I also used a stencil to apply modelling paste 'snow' in the sky. Some iridescent fairy dust glitter was sprinkled into the snow.
The sentiment is from Tree Lot and I matted the image and background onto silver mirror card.
