Gecko Galz Snow Girl Tag

Hello!

Today it's my turn to show another tag I made for Gecko Galz.

The theme is 'Tag, You're It'. 

The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product (this can be one of the freebies, so check back through the blog and also look at the freebies on the Pinterest page, or of course you can buy at the Etsy store!)

I made a wine bottle tag (and a chocolate box sleeve):



The wine bottle tag is super easy to make.



1. Cut a rectangle of thick card (8cm x 30 cm)
2. Score the card at 15cm and 22cm and fold using a bone folder or similar.
3. Cut  3 pieces of paper for the background, making them a half a centimetre smaller than each section, so that a border is visible  - I used the lovely Winter Wonderland paper pack.
4. Distress the edges of the papers with scissors or a distress tool and ink (I used Vintage Photo distress ink)
5. Attach papers to card base. Add glitter.
6. Cut a circle from the centre portion to fit over the bottle neck - a die or punch is handy for this.
7. Select an image and fussy cut then adhere using foam pads. I used the beautiful snow girl image from the Christmas Cuties collage set.
8. Add some lace to trim along the top of the front panel
9. Add a sentiment or greeting.  This one is die cut and inked from the Christmas Sayings Digital Stamp Set.
10. Add a bow to finish the tag.

The chocolate box sleeve is also easy to construct:



1. Measure the box and cut the card accordingly adding a couple of millimetres on each panel, so that the box will slide in easily.
2. Score the card and crease using a bone folder.
3. Secure the overlap in place to make the sleeve shape using strong double sided tape.
4. Cut out 4 panels of patterned paper, making them slightly smaller than the box side so that a border will be visible.
5 Distress the edges and ink.
6. Select images and fussy cut. My main image is from the Christmas Cuties collage set. The Santa bingo card is from Alter It set and the holly from the Christmas Haberdashery set.
7. Attach images on foam pads.
8. Add glitter and a sentiment or greeting.
9. On the other three panels I added a die-cut floral panel.
