Crafts Galore Encore: Kimono Girl

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing my DT project for the April challenge at Crafts Galore Encore

The challenge is always Anything Goes and this month we are sponsored by Star Stampz who are offering 3 digis to the winner.

Here is the card I made:

I used a digi called Kimono Portrait and coloured it with Copics. I used an oval die to cut it out and lightly inked the background with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

I made the background using a Tim Holtz background stamp which I heat embossed in white, then smooshed the card in Picked Raspberry distress ink and water. I added two strips of dotty pink organza ribbon across the centre of the card.

I made a cherry blossom branch from a Britannia die and added white and pink blossoms for a more realistic look.

And finally I made some Heartfelt Creation Majestic blooms from inked card - I added pale yellow stamen to the centres and arranged them with some die cut foliage.

Many thanks to Sarah at Star Stampz for sponsoring this challenge.

I hope you'll pop to over to Crafts Galore Encore to see the DT's wonderful designs.
We'd love to see your creations.

Remember the challenge is always 'Anything Goes' and so you can create any type of project - it doesn't have to be a card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
xoxo
