Hello!
Happy St George's Day to all in England and Happy Birthday to William Shakespeare!
I am so glad the weather bucked up it's ideas last week - we had some glorious sunshine and, of course, it's made everyone feel so much better!
Last week Janet, from Vera Lane Studio, released a new digi set to honour William Shakespeare. Today is his birthday (and also his death day), so I made a card.
I coloured the images of Shakespeare and the theatre masks with Copics and fussy cut them. They are popped on foam pads onto a sponged acrylic background which has some text stamping and three gold heat embossed stars. The quote is one of five which comes in the set and this particular one is a modern version of a quote from Julius Caesar - a play I studied at school. And what a great message it conveys: don't wait for someone to hand you a promotion or a challenge - go and seek it. Decide what you want your life to be, set goals and follow the correct steps to make your dream come true!
I hope you'll come along and play on Vera Lane. It's such a friendly, fun place to be!
I guarantee, you'll get a very warm welcome!
xoxo
