* Gecko Galz: Love Stories

Happy New Year!!

I hope 2019 is brings you health, happiness and peace.

It's time for a host of new challenges as it's the beginning of a new month. And over at the Gecko Galz blog our January Customer Challenge theme is Love Stories.

Here is a card that I made:

I used the new Heart to Heart paper pack coupled with an image from the True Loves Kiss collage sheet. The sentiment is from Charming Words and the beautiful butterflies are from Butterfly Wings collage set.

I printed my papers to the size I required for this 6 x 6 inch card and cut them out. I decided to distress the edges with scissors and then heat emboss the edges with silver. I added some Glossy Accents to some of the pink hearts. The image and sentiment also has distressed and embossed edges with a bit of the silver embossing straying onto the image!

 I popped it on foam pads for dimension. I used silver trim across the bottom and flowery lace along the side. I placed the sentiment onto the trim with foam pads and attached the butterflies in the centre so that their wings could be curled upwards.
