* Vera Lane Studio: Coffee, Tea and Books


 Hello!

It's Monday, it's March and it's my DT day at Vera Lane Studio.

Today we have a super new digi set release called Coffee, Tea and Books. It features a girl called Amelia holding a mug. She has a pile of books and an adorable chubby bird, along with two sentiments, one for coffee and one for tea.

Here is the journal page I made:

I decided to use two Amelias - one sitting on her super-sized pile of books and one sitting demurely in a chair, from the Mid-Century Modern set. The images were coloured with markers and fussy cut. They are placed on a background made with Distress Oxides and a stencil (AALL & Create #59 Weathered Tiles by Autour de Mwa). I added some background stamping and some black stamping around the edges using elements from Janet's two background stamp sets with AALL & Create (#338 Background Noise and #404 Visual Ingredients)
