Little Birdhouse



This card helped me to win another Feather in my Cap at Digi Choosday :)


Here is a card I made using a cutting file called Birdhouse 2 card template from Polkadoodles.

I decided to use the birdhouse as part of my card, rather than make a card out of the birdhouse.


The gold cloud glitter card stock by Deco Time was cut to 13 cm x 13 cm. The Polkadoodles birdhouse was assembled, some parts on foam pads to give dimension, and the edges were inked to add some definition. Leaves were cut from various shades of green card using the Spellbinders Foliage die. They were placed around the birdhouse and pink Santoro roses attached along with some cream pearl stamen for interest. Holographic glitter was applied to the rose petals using a Quickie glue pen. To finish off, a pink satin ribbon was attached to the bottom of the card with a Papermania glitter sentiment which had been inked in Rose Bud Memento ink. Finally, the card was attached to the card base.
