* Eclectic Stem

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for a friend's May birthday.
 I used the Eclectic Stems stamp set from AALL & Create, designed by the fabulous Tracy Evans, and followed the steps that Tracy demonstrated in one of her Facebook Live sessions.

My card has a gelli print, stencilled background.

The Fresco paints were brayered onto the gelli plate. The Florastella stencil was laid over the top and the paint blotted away with paper. When this layer was dry, a thin layer of cream paint was applied and the print pulled. I added some stamping to the background in similar Distress Oxide colours using the Heartfelt stamp, and a tiny amount of black ink stamping using the Background Mash stamp. The excess paint from gelli printing was brayered off onto spare card and this was used to stamp the flower head twice to fussy cut and decoupage onto the original stamp on the background. I added some seed beads to the centre of the flower.  I also cut the vase from brayered-off card, adding a little stamping using Background Mash and Heartfelt. The sentiment is from the Eclectic Stem set too. White paint splatters and a hand drawn border finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo
