* Artsystamper: Vacation Pop Up Box Card

Hello!

Happy Monday!

Today sees the start of a new challenge at the Artsystamper Challenge Blog
Each challenge runs for two weeks and starts on the first and third Monday of the month.
The theme for this challenge is Vacation.
I hope that you can find time to join in the fun!

The winner will receive the stamp set of their choice from TheArtsystamperShop. The Winner and Top 3 will receive a badge for their blog.

Beverly Cole’s selections offer stamps and sentiments in each set as well as pre-coloured images for easy, last minute cards. Why not take a moment and check out what she has in store!

When I think of holidays, I always imagine somewhere hot and sunny by the ocean. With this in mind I decided to create a pop up box card with an ocean theme.

I used the Marble Magic Paper Pack and pre coloured stamps from the Nature of the Beach and Mermaid Wishes.
I constructed the white card box from a template I have had for years and an All Occasions Small Arch Trellis die set. I printed the blue Marble Magic paper, as this looked like the ocean to me,  to cover the exterior box sides and the flaps. I fussy cut the pre coloured images of shells, starfish, turtles and the mermaid and inked the edges  to hide any cutting imperfections. I also die cut some seaweed from inky card using Sweet Dixie's Seashells and Seaweed die set. The elements were arranged with  some on acetate strips to give them some height.
The beautiful sentiment is from the Sand Dune Silhouette Stamp set

That's all for today!
I hope you will hop on over to Artsystamper Digitals Challenge Blog and enter our challenge! You will also see more inspiring designs from the Artsystamper Addicts Design Team ... so much fun.

I'll be back with another Artsystamper project in two weeks time.

Meanwhile, please check out:
