* Path of Positivity: Success is a Journey

Happy Monday!
I hope you are staying safe and well.

Today is the start of a new Path of Positivity challenge.

This month the theme is Anything Goes with the optional twist of Success.

Prizes this month include:

• $10 gift certificate from Ike's Art our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants. 
• ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
• One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Please remember in order to be eligible for the prizes your project must be positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some way. 

I was lucky to receive an image from our guest sponsor, Ike's Art.



The image is called Narrowboat and currently it is half price along with many other of Ike's digis!

I choose this beautiful, relaxing scene for my 'Success' card because I believe that any worthwhile success takes time. One has to work hard to achieve success; it is not instantly available, and the slow narrowboat, chugging along the canal waterways depicts that journey.
I'm also reminded of a saying my grand dad used to like: 'slow and steady wins the race'. And he was right! Whatever your goal in life, work at it constantly, never give up, take your time, enjoy the journey and you will make small steps to achieving it.

I wanted to use watercolours for this lovely image, but unfortunately my printer would not take the card weight, so I went with Copic colouring. The sentiment is from Scribbles Designs and is called Success Quote #038.
