* Vera Lane Studio: Keep the Light

Hello!

It's my DT day at Vera Lane Studio today and I have two posts to share. This first one is a tiny card made with last weeks mid-week release called Keep The Light.

My card is only 4 x 4 inches and I must admit I enjoy working in small spaces. I cut a piece of card 3.5 x 3.5 inches and used PaperArtsy Infusions in Emerald Isle to create the background, dabbing, drying and reapplying a few times. Once I was happy with the colour, I let the card dry naturally, then spritzed it with Glimmer Mist and some white splashes.
I coloured the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them Cardz TV #93 AG 18/07- yes the flower stems were a bit of a challenge, but worth it! I glued them directly onto the background using narrow heart washi tape to ground my elements. I cut the sentiment into strips and glued them down then doodled around them with a black fine liner pen. The edges of the background were edged in black ink and all was adhered to the card base.

Keep The Light

I hope you'll come along and play on Vera Lane.
It's such a friendly, fun place to be!

Thanks for stopping by today.
xoxo
