Hello!
I'm delighted to have found some time to make a card for the Lost Coast Portal challenge.
I've had a few Lost Coast Designs stamps for a while and thought it was time to use them. I decided to have a play with the Cat and Bird stamp.
The theme is Lemon, Lime and Black and here is the card I made:
The stamp was heat embossed with fine black powder and a mask made to place over the stamped image while I made the background. I used Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron and Fossilised Amber - applying them to a craft mat, spritzing with water and smooshing the card through the colour. I dried each layer before adding the next until I was happy with it's appearance. While the mask was still in place I added some splatters of watered down black acrylic paint. The edges of the background were inked with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink and some text was stamped on either side.
I matted the background on to yellow, green and black card and popped it onto a 7 x 7 inch card base.
Thanks for stopping by today.
xoxo
