* Fish and Heart ATCoins

Hello!

I have another Lemon, Lime and Black project to share featuring Lost Coast Designs stamps.

This time I made a pair of Artist Trading Coins using the Fish and Heart Stamp Set. I love the zentangle doodles!

The background of the ATCoins was made with Brusho pigments. I mixed them with water in a palette and used a paintbrush to splatter the colour onto card. Each colour was dried before the next was applied to build up layers of colour. The ATCoins measure 2.5 inches diameter and were cut with a circle cutter - I have a few circle die sets, but none of them are the correct size! The edges of the coin were inked with Jet Black ink.
I stamped the fish and hearts on more Brusho painted card, heat embossing the black ink with clear powder. I fussy cut around the images and ran around the cut edges with a black marker pen. The images were glued onto the coins and when dry, I added some shadows with a watercolour pen - a little too heavily on the Heart coin! The fish coin also has some waves heat embossed directly onto the card. The sentiments are Small Talk stickers by Tim Holtz. Finally some pewter metallic sticker gems finish off the coins.

Thanks for stopping by today.
xoxo
