ArtsyStamper: Patterned Paper Poinsettias

Hello!
Happy Monday!

Today is the second challenge at the new Artsystamper Challenge Blog. Each challenge runs for two weeks and starts on the first and third Monday of the month.
The theme for this challenge is Patterned Paper
I hope that you can find time to join in the fun!

The winner will receive the stamp set of their choice from TheArtsystamperShop. Beverly Cole’s selections offer stamps and sentiments in each set as well as pre-colored images for easy, last minute cards. Why not take a moment and check out what she has in store!

I have a card to share today which features the beautiful Poinsettia Pair Digital Stamp and Paper Set. This set comes with a black and white digital stamp for you to colour and a pre-coloured image for quick and easy projects. It also has four different patterned papers.

Here is my card:

I decided to make an easel card to showcase the beautiful Poinsettia papers. Once the papers had been printed they were cut to size and the edges distressed with scissors. The papers were matted onto black card. I chose the black and white stamp so that I could colour it myself with Copic markers. I added a few white highlights and fussy cut the poinsettias leaving a white border. I decided that the flowers would get lost on the patterned paper, so I die cut some vellum and a white doily upon which I placed the coloured poinsettias using foam pads to add dimension.

There is more patterned paper on the inside, matted onto black card to frame it. The stopper element for the easel is a red, embossed, die cut label. I added a gold die cut sentiment, added some white dashes and dots and fussy cut some of the small white flowers to decorate the edges. The label is popped up on foam tape so that it holds back the easel.
