Holly's Happy Mail: {PIN}spiration

Hello!

Today I'm sharing my DT post for the new challenge which starts today at

{PIN}spirational Challenges.

I won at Angie's Digital Stamps Challenge!

  

Each challenge runs for two weeks and has a photo to spark your inspiration.

There are just a few rules and these can be found on the sidebar of the {PIN}spirational blog. 
Any project is welcome as long as it is inspired by the photo. You can enter 5 different projects in each challenge.

Here is my project - a card using a digi stamp called Holly's Happy Mail from Elizabeth Bell

The image was coloured with alcohol markers, then fussy cut leaving a thin white border. It was attached on foam pads to a Spellbinders Label which had been inked with Peacock Feathers and Nautical Blue whilst the label was still inside the die to give the crisp white border.
The background papers were matted on to white card before being assembled.



The flowers (Heartfelt Creations Majestic Blooms) are die cut from white card. They were colour washed and shaped with a stylus, then assembled with leaves and natural flowers from Anna Marie Designs. 
The X-Cut tag is also inked and attached to a turquoise ribbon. The text on the tag was computer generated and each word was cut into a tile and glued on to the tag.  The word "hello" was die cut four times and glued one on top of the others.
Pearl gems finish off the card.
