Hello!
This month at Vera Lane Studio Facebook Group our ATC swap theme is Monster Mash.
Vera Lane Studio has an abundance of cute and quirky digi stamp sets suitable for Halloween and I chose to use images from Vera's Zombies and Backyard Monsters.
The first ATC features zombie Rachael and monster Marty from Backyard Monsters (available on request from Janet). The images were coloured with Copics and given white Posca pen highlights. Glossy Accents were added to their eyes and to Rachael's heart and buttons. The images were fussy cut.
The backgrounds were coloured with a blending tool and Distress Oxides. Water droplets were added and blotted to remove some of the ink. I stamped some marks and heat embossed in black. White paint was splattered all over. Gold paint was applied along the edges and along the bottom edge and some gold paint splatters added to the background. The zombies were glued directly onto the background and their companions were popped on foam pads.
The second ATC feature zombie Gage and his cat, Meow.
The words were made from small craft beads.
