Path of Positivity: Find Warmth Among Friends

Hello!

Happy Monday!
I hope you are staying safe and well.
In England we are going back into lockdown this week for at least four weeks to try and contain the virus and get the R Rate down. I do hope people will take this seriously and abide by the rules.
The clocks went back last week and the weather has taken a turn for the worse. The quality of daylight is very poor and I'm forced to take indoor photos and try again with my light box.

Anyhow....
Today is the start of a new Path of Positivity challenge.

This month the theme is Anything Goes with the optional twist of Gratitude.

Prizes this month include:
  • 3 images from SheepSki Designs our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.
Our optional theme this month is Gratitude
This is at the perfect time of year to reflect on all the good you have in your life. Therefore, this month, create a project that depicts gratitude to thankfulness in some way.

Please remember in order to be eligible for the prizes your project must be positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some way.

I was lucky to be given a digi stamp from SheepSki Designs and I chose #207 Giant Daisies. I teamed this beautiful image with a sentiment from Scribbles called Find Warmth.

I wanted to show that I am grateful for the special bond I have with close friends and family.  They are the ones who are always there to support you, no matter what life throws at you.  This is especially true as we enter into lockdown again. We may not be able to meet face to face physically for the foreseeable future, but a phone call or video chat can bring just as much joy, happiness and warmth and for that I am grateful.

I love this gnome couple! In fact I love all SheepSki Designs - they are super cute! I coloured my gnomes with Copic markers and finished them with Polychromo pencils. I fussy cut them, leaving a thin, white border. I die cut the sentiment with a stitched rectangle die.
Are you like me? I often wonder where stray blobs of colour have come from - one of the lovely daisies has a blue blob on a petal which I could not remove :)
The background is brayered PaperArtsy Fresco paint in Smoked Paprika and Red Lipstick. I heat embossed AALL & Create stamp #384 called Lined Hexagons in white and inked the edges in black. If you look closely you can see some lovely inspirational sayings in the background stamp :)

Many thanks to SheepSki Designs, this month's guest sponsor,

and to Scribbles Designs as the ongoing sponsor of the challenge

We would love to see your creations!
Just make sure that your entry is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some way!
