Vera Lane Studio: Winter to Spring

 

Hello!

For my DT post at Vera Lane Studio today I have coloured a new release called Winter to Spring. It is a digi set comprising of four digi images and three sentiments. I chose to work with the winter images and sentiment:

Both the girls in this set are cuties. I like this one because she has mistletoe in her hair. I coloured with Copics and fussy cut the images. The background is Distress Oxides in various shades of green applied directly onto one of Janet's AALL & Create stencils (#96 Dandelion Field), spritzed with water and placed on the card. I love the watercolour effect this gives. Once dry, I stamped elements of #338 Background Noise stamps in greens over the entire card and used black ink and stamp #314 Tile Pile around the edges. Some white paint splatters were added. The images were adhered with torn #2 washi tape to ground them. The sentiment was cut with a stitched rectangle die..
