Hello, hello!
It's my DT day at Vera Lane Studio and I'm excited to share a card I made with the Warm Wishes digi set:
I love this quirky little girl and I think she is perfect for saying hello to a friend. She also has a birthday sentiment and one that says 'missing you', so she is suitable for lots of occasions. The beautiful birds is from the La Dolce Vita set. I coloured the images with Copic markers and finished with Polychromo pencils. I fussy cut them and added them to the background.
The background was made by using one of Janet Klein's stencils (available through AALL & Create) as a stamp by inking it up with Distress Oxide inks, spritzing it with water then stamping it onto white card. This is one of my favourite ways of making backgrounds - it is quick and easy and often I get two or three backgrounds from just one inking. I added some background stamping using a text stamp from Janet's Background Noise and some black stamping around the edges using Visual Ingredients. Torn washi grounds my images.
Hi Carole this is a gorgeous card. I love it. Anyone would be thrilled to receive a card like this. Have a good week. Take care. Hugs Jackie
