Hello
and welcome to my blog :)
September is here and we have a our customer challenge over at the Gecko Galz blog.
As always, we also have the monthly card challeng.e,
the monthly Christmas Image Challenge, the monthly Stamp Challenge, an ATC challenge, a Steampunk challenge and a Gothic Challenge on the blog, as well as 4 Facebook challenges. These can be accessed by the tabs at the top of the main blog page. And, we have a new challenge, the quarterly challenge where this time we're asking you to make an altered shrine.. We hope you can find some time to join in the fun.
The winner of the Customer challenge will get a $25 Gecko Galz Etsy Store voucher and the runner up a $12 voucher. There are plenty of free Gecko Galz images if you don't already own any. Each blog post has a free image to collect and, if you sign up for the monthly newsletter, there is the chance to claim a free collage set each month. Also if you make any purchase of $2 or more you receive a free image. ***
The images were enlarged and printed.
The kraft card bookmark has patterned paper in the background from the Signs of Yesterday ATC set. I die cut some borders out of teal card and arranged as a frame around the image. I added an eyelet and some hessian twine
***
The card also has a kraft card base. Signs of Yesterday papers are in the background and the image is framed with natural coloured trim. I die cut (Sizzix) and coloured some foliage and a toadstool as embellishments and popped everything on a teal mat layer.
Here is the coaster - I used a Sizzix thinly die to cut the circular image and the die also cuts a border ring - I die cut it from black card and used the outer ring as a frame. The base is pdf board painted with gold acrylic. The whole project was varnished for some durability.

I altered the cover of a spiral bound notebook:
I love this image from the Autumn Splendour collage set. I digitally added some grungy marks before I printed it. The background paper is from the Autumn Colours ATC set. I added some gold trim and some die cut flowers and foliage as well as copper stickers (do you remember those!) to the corners of the image and around the edges of the paper. Finally I added the typewriter style Alpha stickers.

Next I have several digital scrapbook pages.
The Harvest
The image is from The Color of Autumn collage set.
The paper and all the transparent background (png) elements are from the Autumn Calling Kit. ***
Flowers or Weeds:
The beautiful image is from
Autumn Queens collage set and the paper is an enlarged ATC from the
Signs of Yesterday ATC set. I added digital scrapbooking elements and the quote from the poet, William Wordsworth.
